Hello guys.

I recently have found this website : http://librenberry.net/

It seems he is selling the tux droid, 20€ more expensive than on kysoh.com

I wonderer if he is allowed to do such a thing.

They are 2 french students that added 2 external sensors to tuxdroid. They posted the description on the script forum at http://www.tuxisalive.com/tux-droid-forum/scripts/438899757

From what I understood, they added an IR distance sensor (Sharp I guess) and a humidity/temperature sensor (Sensirion probably). They told in the script that they would do the hardware hack to add these senors and sell this modified version. I have no idea if this is legal and I don't see why it wouldn't as they buy the original tuxs from Kysoh. I think it's a good initiative and as I also wanted to support external sensors, I think I'll try to work with them in order to do the software/firmware developments with the community.

Cheers,
David
