I can't seem to figure out the procedure for
getting changes accepted, or at least rejected.
I could use a comparison between the proper procedure
for TuxPaint and the Linux kernel procedure that
I'm far more familiar with.

I've already tried sending a patch. (unified diff
format, in the body of an email with a subject that
starts with "[PATCH]"). I don't seem to have the
needed permission to check something into CVS.

What's the story here?

It's a pain to write code without knowing if previous
changes have been accepted or rejected. I can't count
on the state of things.

BTW, if I violate some unspoken rule, please gently
explain things to me.
