The potential future home of the hit reality comp says that it is a matter of federal copyright law, so in their view the court battle between them and The Weinstein Co. against NBCU over the future of the show should be taken out of NY Supreme Court, where an injunction was issued last month barring Lifetime from airing the show's sixth cycle (although it continues in production in LA):
