Teams with a football tradition like Green Bay or Dallas can also attract
viewers outside their home markets but the Arizona Cardinals and
the Baltimore Ravens don't really have the history to attract the casual
football fan.

How are the Eagles not a major market team? Isn't Philly still the number
four media market?

As far as I've been able to tell over the years: especially as used in
conjunction with sports teams, the phrase "major market" is code for "New
York, Los Angeles, and maybe Chicago."

Philadelphia: #4
Phoenix: #12
Pittsburgh: #23
Baltimore: #26
