Yes. With Ed Begley Jr in the Steve Martin role and Leonardo DiCaprio 
David Arquette and Thora Birch as the youngsters.

And as he notes, Rick Springfield was "The Human Target" on ABC in 1992. 
Somewhat a one man "Mission Impossible" it was a comic book that later 
went from the main DC universe to the Vertigo imprint. (Then again, 
"Forever Knight" had a second life beyond Rick's pilot.) Presumably with 
McG's involvement, it'll be more Vertigo

And the name's just the same:
"Inside the Box" (ABC) is also a (daytime?) Canadian 20 questions-y game 
show about television. It's been running via syndication in the US.

And "Maggie Hill" (Fox) just sounds like 80% of the Diane English plucky 
single white female sitcom genre.
