I missed the last Jesse Stone movie, but the previous ones (all based rather closely on Parker's novels) were excellent.
Interesting piece of trivia: In an interview on "Tavis Smiley," Tom Selleck said he had once been slated to play Parker's most famous sleuth, Spenser. He was supposed to play the role in a feature film version of Parker's excellent novel "Early Autumn" in the early 1980s during a hiatus from "Magnum, P.I." However, when production was delayed, Selleck had to get back to Hawaii, and the film never got made. Selleck said he used to joke with his friend Robert Urich about it. -Tim On Feb 14, 6:39 pm, "Kevin M." <[email protected]> wrote: > "Thin Ice," the first of the Jesse Stone MOWs not based on a novel by > Robert B.
