Most of the laws against kiddie porn are used to indict for possession, not transport or production. The Clinton-era DOJ attempted to strengthen the possession argument, but got their hands slapped (albeit slightly) by the SCOTUS.
Also, there's nothing in the affidavit that says former FOX News staffer Aaron Bruns was actually "doing the deed"; he got hit with the same charges that the NPR guy did. It would seem there could be more of a connection made along the lines of "Why are DC-based employees of national news organizations so interested in media of kiddie- diddling?" than to making the query more employer-specific. _____ On Feb 27, 1:29 pm, "Mark J." <[email protected]> wrote: > Former science reporter David Malakoff was arrested for possession, > not actually doing the act--which won't stop Billo, even if a former > Fixed Noise employee was run in last month for actually doing the deed > with kids: > > http://www.thesmokinggun.com/archive/years/2009/0225091porn1.html --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV ....
