Jimmy is pretty funny on his show - what I have realized is that his
show is not often very funny. He needs to lose the family members if
he wants to step it up a level.

BTW - I was up late last night and after the recorded show I was
watching was over and went to live tv and it was tuned to NBC (I am
not sure why). Fallon was just starting his monologue, so I decided to
check in. Wow - that was the most painful monologue I have ever seen
delivered by a host on any tv show anywhere. I am used to a joke or
two bombing, and any host worth his salt can usually squeeze at least
a few laughs out of the bombing (maybe not the full-Johnny, but at
least something). But last night Fallon was a complete zero. I stayed
for I think 4 jokes, and dude was literally oh-for-four, each silence
getting more deafening and more uncomfortable. I don't like the guy,
and even I felt sorry for him. I tuned out after that - maybe it was a
bit making fun of unfunny monologues and I missed the payoff - I hope
it was something like that, because even a rabid dog deserves more
than that.
