Mad Men episode accidentally released on iTunes http://www.cbc.ca/arts/tv/story/2009/08/20/madmen-itunes-glitch.html
Fans of the advertising drama Mad Men got a surprising treat when a third episode of the Emmy-winning series' new season was automatically downloaded to their iTunes queues. A glitch in the service's Season Pass system released an unaired episode, called My Old Kentucky Home, to subscribers just before midnight Tuesday. That means it was on offer 13 days before it was scheduled to air and before the second episode was made available, too. Cable network AMC issued a statement Wednesday about the incident: "We urge those who received this episode in error to please refrain from spoiling plot lines out of respect to other Mad Men fans who are looking forward to watching the story unfold." So far, the episode has not been streamed online but details of the storyline have appeared on some websites. The episode is scheduled to air on Aug. 30. Mad Men, now in its third season, chronicles the professional and personal lives of ad executives working in New York in 1960. Starring Elisabeth Moss, Vincent Kartheiser, John Slattery, January Jones, Christina Hendricks and Jon Hamm, the show has won a strong following and much acclaim for its incisive portrayal of the era. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ TV or Not TV ....
