My beloved and I are watching Cash Cab, and she came up with a question that her loving, NYC-aware husband could not answer.
Ben Bailey is obviously a fully licenced driver, under the auspices of the Taxi and Livery Commission. Under those rules, you can't refuse a fare unless it goes outside NYC. I know that I've read that people often say no to the ride because it takes too long to go through the paperwork. Here's her question: could a person effective force Bailey to take him/her on a fare while refusing to be filmed? I think the answer has to be yes. But has it ever happened?
