Not because Charlie Sheen has been charged with assaulting his wife or the show is really bad, but because of "questionable content"

Thanks. February 10, 2010 'Two And A Half Men' has got to go Dear Steven, "Two and a Half Men" has always been a program with questionable content. Most parents agree this show is highly offensive and would like to see it off the air. OMM is extremely concerned about the message it sends out. Keep in mind this program airs Monday evenings on CBS at 8:00/7:00 central. This episode was rated TV 14-DL, meaning the network felt the content was appropriate for 14-year-olds. OMM is furious over this past episode which included excessive alcohol consumption, sexual innuendos, the reference several times to male body parts and foul language. We are outraged when characters on the show who love one another say, "Go to hell!" and "Drop dead!" to each other. The sitcom starts off with the family discussing Charlie Sheen's character being engaged. He has become excessively jealous of his fiancée whom he lives with. Then he is made to sleep on the sofa like he does often after a fight. Charlie and his disrespectful, teen nephew have a brief discussion about his relationship and Charlie states, "I will not take advice from someone whose current girlfriend is a gym sock." Because of Charlie's jealousy he gets drunk. The following day while in a coffee shop and recovering from a hangover, he tries to make up with his fiancée and ends up vomiting on a baby in a carriage nearby. This disgusting behavior is not funny. "Two and a Half Men" is following a trend to desensitize America, including children, until we recognize this irresponsible behavior as normal. OMM finds it horrendous and dangerous to society. A majority of the episodes from this program are so vulgar we cannot even begin to give details. This "comedy" is not humorous and not okay. No excuses! *TAKE ACTION The following companies advertised on "Two and a Half Men" during this past week's episode: Volkswagen, Verizon, L'Oreal, Domino's, Pepsi, and Special K (Kellogg).
