The double pumping (top and bottom of the screen) is definitely new to me. Not sure about running it during the commercials, but the duration of the closures (Feds going on a fourth day tomorrow, schools on a fifth) predates the advent of the TV ticker.
David ________________________________ From: "Pollak, Melissa F." <[email protected]> I've been outside only twice in almost a week. Luckily I live next door to a supermarket, and, much to my surprise, it was well-stocked on Monday, milk and all, which is usually the first item to go. And, the salad bar had fresh blueberries, even late in the afternoon. Quick question: All networks seem to be running scrolling school closings, etc. during commercials (as well as programs). I don't remember ever seeing that before, the commercial part, that is. Is my memory just bad? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Bob in Jersey Sent: Wednesday, February 10, 2010 5:36 PM To: TVorNotTV Subject: [TV orNotTV] Anyone else snowed in? I've got at least a foot here, and it's expected to keep going at this rate until 9 or 10pm east. Postal Service got here early, tho they still had to get through a lot.
