My mistake, as I am one of those who don't pay attention to most of these 
sports outside of every four years in February.

The NY Times has an interactive graphic of the last stretch of the luger's run, 
with stills in the lower left corner.  My bias here is now well known, but I'm 
not sure the pictures add much (my head needs force vectors added to make much 
sense of them).  That said, I'm glad the graphic isn't synched with the video.
