I think her quote about them knowing more than her was aimed specifically at
booking musical guests, and I don't know of any reason to disagree with her
on that. Jay-Z is a pretty sweet booking for any television show. The
musical guests don't have to have an special affinity with the Host, though
in this case I think the hook for Betty-W is incongruous contrast anyway, so
Jay-Z is probably not a bad choice, and I would not be surprised to see some
kind of sketch with Jay-Z and with Betty in the Beyonce or Rihanna or or
Alicia Keys role.

In comedy terms, I don't find much to criticize with either Poehler or the
beloved Fey. Shannon seems questionable to me, but whatever. They may have a
few MTM reunion guests (Leachman might make the most sense for younger
viewers) but if so there would be little reason to publicize that in
advance.
