As stated before, I'm digitizing my VHS archives, and I've stumbled upon the legend that is/was the "Eye on LA: 3D Swimsuit Spectacular." And, as stated before, I can only see out of one eye, so this particular episode of the series that launched the careers of most of the present-day producers of reality television is nothing more than a blur of breasts to me.
I did a search for 3D movies on YouTube and only came up with trailers for films in 3D. Does the screen flicker rate of a monitor nullify the old-fashioned red/blue lens 3D experience? The series was one of the last locally produced TV shows intended exclusively for the LA market (they revived the name a few years ago, but it had gone from a TV newsmagazine to a series focused on Latino issues). "The Simpsons" regularly parodied the series with Kent Brockman's "Eye on Springfield." Basically, I'm looking to get a read on public response to this show. If I save it, it won't be for me and my one good eye; it'd be for posterity. So, does it get digitized or get dumped? -- Kevin M. (RPCV) -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
