Outside of the apples/oranges thing, Stewart and Colbert have always been more valuable to COM in attracting the upper income demos than in getting a mass of viewers. It wasn't that long ago that COM's top ratings-getters were "Blue Collar TV" reruns and anything involving Foxworthy, Engvall, Cable Guy, etc. And Jeff Dunham, whose series was setting records for the channel earlier this year, is more in the Blue Collar Tour mode than the Busboy Productions mode. -- TV or Not TV ....
