Country singer/songwriter Merle Haggard, dancer/choreographer Bill T. Jones, composer/lyricist Jerry Herman, ex-Beatle Paul McCartney, and TV host/actor/producer Oprah Winfrey have been selected to receive this year's Kennedy Center Honors, the Center said Monday.
