Greetings from Karaganda, Kazakhstan. I have arrived and fought the Central Asian internet deities who do not believe in the plug-and-play concept of networking. After much trial and error, I was able to connect to the office network using my computer (I switched my computer into Russian, then asked them to send in their local IT expert, then after he got frustrated, he stood behind me while I figured it out my f-ing self -- still working on connecting the iPad, though).
The teaching begins tomorrow, so I'm off to prepare a lesson or two. I hope to have internet in my apartment in a few days, but knowing this is Kazakhstan, it may take longer. Until then, keep watching the skies. -- Kevin M. (RPCV) -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People! You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TV or Not TV" group.
