It could be said things went downhill for him when he left McKenzie Brackman. He and Gracie split up after the lost the baby, his partnership with Michael didn't pan out, so he had to become a New York cop who developed an irrational obsession with carrier pigeons. Worse still, he was replaced by the Rickster. Frankly, he was better off back in the 1980s when he was a drug kingpin in Chicago and his only enemies were Billy Crystal and Gregory Hines. -- Kevin M.
