Since the Reliant Robin features in subsequent episodes, that seems particularly stupid (then again, so does the Robin). Unless they manage to edit out all references to the Robin in the series when shoehorning them into hour timeslots. Here's a link to explain the fascination:
http://www.autoblog.com/2010/08/12/top-gear-clarkson-blamed-for-reliant-robin-prank-w-video/ FWIW, BBCA does occasionally air episodes from before whenever they started showing the show regularly. But it doesn't seem to be in any systematic fashion, and it doesn't seem to be entire series at a go. David ________________________________ From: M-D November <mdnovem...@gmail.com> Subject: Re: Top Gear Mothership episode availability (was Re: [TV orNotTV] Top Gear US) It's also worth noting that BBCA edits the show without mercy, so if you're looking to catch new episodes, try to catch their first airing, which (as of the most recent series) BBCA allocates more time to leave in the News and some shorter films. (If you catch a rerun of the first episode of the most recent series, for instance, you WON'T get to see the hysterical Reliant Robin film.) Of course, you can always grab the episodes through, shall we say, extralegal means. =) -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
