BBC's official response (not sure if everyone will be able to see it
on the TGA Facebook site):

It basically states anyone who watches the show knows they poke fun of
everyone in crude, stereotypical fashion (think of Don Rickles with a
car show) -- even themselves -- and anyone who watches the show
understands that. The Mexican ambassador clearly does not watch the
show.
