That only matters if you're running for President in order to become
president. To run for president to become/remain famous, you just need to
convince some pundits that you have either a *theoretical* chance of
winning or can be a possible spoiler. And with Palin, the pundits will
concoct whatever bizarre scenario needed themselves. (See the various Rube
Goldbergesque series of events argued to convince us that Jeb Bush, Marco
Rubio, or Chris Christie still have a chance to win if he wants to jump in
today.)
