I hate it when that happens... I have not been watching the cable news channels this weekend, so I don't know if they have been tagging this story in similar ways. I have had three or four variations of this headline on my google news feed (the one above is verbatim from a CNN link at 10:57 pm PT, Sunday 1/1/12).
Has there been any discussion on the tv news shows of the unique challenges of writing headlines for the former Republican Senator from PA? I know the (still) #1 google position of the Savage definition of his name has gotten a lot of attention, but I have not seen any discussion or acknowledgement of how this is taken into consideration when reporting his campaign. I have been so hoping that the anyone but Romney musical chairs game would stop at Santorum before it inevitably, reluctantly accepts the the pro-choice, pro government mandate. non-Christian (at least to many of the people who care about such things) Romney is the best hope the GOP has this cycle. I hope he can stick around at least through the Southern primaries, though I expect by the week after New Hampshire he will just be a pale brown stain on our memories of the Republican primary season... -- TV or Not TV ....
