Roger Ailes really does seem himself as one of the kingmakers in the Republican party. His genius is that he has also figured out a model to make lots of money from his kingmaking. Palin's sin is not just that her 15 minutes appear to be up, but that she has signaled her willingness to try to extend them by turning on and and pissing over the people and issues that Ailes ordains as the next thing in Republican political life. This is the thing he can not and will not stand. I think that is Palin was only at a break-even level in terms of ratings, but still seen by Ailes as an asset for pushing his unique agenda for the GOP, he would keep her indefinitely. -- TV or Not TV ....
