I don't recall ever seeing an event like this rebroadcast on tape delay on a broadcast network (maybe if one of them is carrying a conflicting live sports event - I seem to recall the World Series game in which Kurt Gibson hit that walk off homer vs Eckersley I think there was a presidential debate going on at the same time). Afterwards we get, as Ben indicates, reruns and local filler, and in the old days (before cable and DVRs) we are left wondering why we have to get stuck watching crap just because the east coasters could not watch the good stuff. I guess the cable news shows repeat these speeches, but then they tend to repeat much of their schedule starting at 9:00 pm anyway. -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
