I didn't see it live, but the World Cup qualifier in Colorado Friday where the US team apparently ousted the Costa Ricans looked rather disgusting even to someone like me that has watched, and enjoyed, what the world at large calls football... even to ESPN's "studio" crew sitting around their trademark desk covered at least 2 inches high with the white stuff... this Yahoo op-ed piece<http://sports.yahoo.com/news/costa-rica-may-protest-loss-united-states-valid-172900530--sow.html>notes how many of the pitches in other lands where the Amer'cans have played were unprotestable, and so should this one... -- BOB
