LucasArts hasn't really been creating much of anything lately. They've long moved away from creating their own IP and instead coming up with numerous Star Wars games that they have farmed out to a second party in most cases like Bioware who did "Knights of the Old Republic" and "The Old Republic" MMO.
Companies like Double Fine and Telltale are more old school LucasArts today than LucasArts is now. In short, no big loss.
