I used the term because it's from Abso-Lutely Productions, the company that did "Tim and Eric." They also do "Comedy Bang! Bang!" But neither show does have Tim or Eric's names on the crawl and neither one has been credited in promos for those shows.
And besides, the guy who directed "Tim and Eric" also directs "Portlandia." YMMV there.
