The gossip web site sister of the cable channel had its Twitter and text
message feed hacked with a "Justin Bieber is gay" message--E! took it off
and is trying to find the culprit:

I would be interested to know why when these sort of hacks involve music
stars, it's always the mass appeal pop music stars that are especially
popular with teenage girls or hip-hoppers--why is it never a hipster
favorite, a heavy-metaler or a Springsteen/Seger/Townsend member of classic
rock royalty? Oh, yeah--since when did rock and roll become conservative?
