He didn't work the counter, but big-time helmer Ron Howard stopped by the 
banana stand today in Columbus Circle for a few minutes.  He took stills of 
the stand, both exterior and interior, seemed to make friends with the 
workers, and waved to an appreciative crowd.  Maybe he's gathering ideas 
for the long-delayed Bluth family biopic - reportedly he acquired the 
rights back in 2006.
