I remember the dawn of video on the internet, RealPlayer and all that. If memory serves, the first things I tried to find were those SCTV clips making fun of 3D movies. It had been 20 years since I'd seen them anywhere, and I remember very literally laughing out loud as I rewatched them.
A day or so ago, Steve Martin mentioned on his Twitter that he missed John Candy, and as the years have passed I've come to appreciate the skills he had more and more. In verbal and physical comedy, Candy was tremendous, and you could cast him as anything -- hero, villain, sidekick, or comic foil.
