Of course, Fixed Noise is not represented because they don't submit entries to the Emmys to keep them "alternative to the MSM" (while still boasting of being "No. 1 in Cable News!")--"60 Minutes" got the most nominations, "Frontline" got 18 (creator/showrunner David Fanning will receive a lifetime achievement award this year), HBO docs got 21 and BBC World News is represented for the first year (I suspect by way of "World News America" airing on some public TV stations)--the awards are handed out Oct. 1 in New York and I suspect C-SPAN will televise them one way or the other:
