NBCU, Fox and Disney had been planning to sell the online video service and 
there were some candidates who were willing to spend at least $1B, but 
supposedly limitations by the current owners on programming availability 
and what could be offered on advertiser-supported Hulu and/or subscription 
Hulu Plus were objectionable to the potential buyers, so the three owners 
are going to hang on to the service for a while:
