After the Viacom/CBS breakup, when the TV shows (including "Star Trek,"
"The Untouchables," "The Brady Bunch" and titles acquired from buying out
Blockbuster) became part of CBS, Paramount was the only big movie studio
without a TV division, but that's changed now--Amy Powell, who ran the
studio's new media division (and got one of that division's projects, the
dating reality show parody "Burning Love," to repeat on E!), will be
running the division while still running the new media and ultra-low budget
Insurgent division:

One assumes that Viacom's cable channels will be prime targets for
Paramount's product, in particular the premium channel Epix, which has been
stymied into entering the original scripted series game by Comcast, Time
Warner, Cablevision and DirecTV's refusal to pick up the channel.
Netflix's recent successes may be an impetus to emphasize the streaming
end of Epix and begin original programming development.
