Dave Madden was best known for his role as the sardonic manager of "The Partridge Family" and also appeared regularly on "Alice" and "Laugh-In" (where he would make a caustic wisecrack and punctuate it by throwing confetti)--Danny Bonaduce has said that Mr. Madden was a true character who, uh, influenced Bonaduce's life quite a bit:
