TV Land, the channel whose most popular original programming is multi-cam sitcoms starring middle-aged stars-and-older of other multi--cam sitcoms, has ordered for pilot a one-camera series based on the former Chicago twenty-and-thirtysomething all-woman improv troupe the Katydids' web series "Teachers," the episodic misadventures of a group of schoolteachers--Alison Brie of "Community" is trophy producer of the cable version, the Katydids are so named because their first names are some version of "Katy" or "Kate" or "Katherine," etc.:
