I am not proud of every television viewing choice I have made in recent
years. I have difficulty holding me head up with pride when acknowledging
that I have seen most episodes of both The Voice and American Idol in
recent years, and the fact that I know who won Hell's Kitchen last week is
not my finest accomplishment. But the only TV choice I am really ashamed of
is that I have now seen every episode of Scandal. It is a horrid, horrid
little show. The writing is obnoxious and neither the characters nor the
plot have any redeeming value. I can only defend her taste in background
music. I would feel less ashamed if my family walked in and saw me watching
"Co-Ed Confidential" than "Scandal". And yet, God help me, I know I will
watch it again this Fall. That sh*t is pure crack, and it is definitely
wack. Somebody cancel it before I watch it again...
