ABC President Paul Lee, in talking to Variety, is implying a delay in the
spinoff, rather than killing the project outright.

YACS on both counts.  In fact, the conventional wisdom is that "Agent Carter"'s
renewal may have come at the expense of a "Agents of SHIELD" spinoff starring
Adrianne Palicki & Nick Blood.

Agent Carter will also return mid-season on ABC, in all probability to fill the
half-season break for Agents of SHIELD. And I've heard word that the wacky
knights-and-damsels musical comedy Galavant was actually given a sophomore
order. (Insert "sophomoric" joke here.)

Schedule taken from EW, in a schedule where every single new series is either

"DWTS" dodges the bullet again, but can they survive without Len Goodman's
snarling (which has become more pronounced as the dance numbers have become
less ballroom and more "So You Think You Can Dance"--Adam, is the parent show
in the UK doing the same thing?)?
TUESDAY8-8:30 P.M. — THE MUPPETS--It's time to play the music, it's time to
light the lights, it's time to meet the Muppets again in a mock-reality show
behind-the-scenes format created by "Big Bang Theory" co-creator Bill
Prady.8:30-9 P.M. — Fresh Off the Boat9-10. PM. — Marvel’s Agents of
S.H.I.E.L.D.
10-11 P.M. — QUANTICO--Young and sexy FBI agents in training who get involved
in matters over their heads.

"The Catch," Shonda Rhimes' newest drama, with Mireille Enos as a fraud
investigator, will show up in mid-season instead of on Thursday Shondaland
night, although I wouldn't count on it.
WEDNESDAY8-8:30 P.M. — The Middle
8:30-9 P.M. — The Goldbergs
9-9:30 P.M. — Modern Family
9:30-10 P.M. — black-ish
10-11 P.M. — Nashville

The first time in a while that the Wednesday night lineup has stayed intact for
a second fall, although "The Middle" and "Modern Family" are getting long in
the tooth (and Disney isn't getting any syndication money from those shows).
THURSDAY
8-9 P.M. — Grey’s Anatomy
9-10 P.M. — Scandal10-11 P.M. — How to Get Away with Murder
Thursday in Shondal--excuse me, TGIT--remains the same.
FRIDAY8-8:30 P.M. — Last Man Standing8:30-9 P.M. — DR. KEN--The multi-cam
replacing "Cristela" is based on the fact that Ken Jeong of "The Hangover"
movies was actually a doctor before he became an actor.  That's right, kids,
funny Asian doctor.  My sides!9-10 P.M. — Shark Tank10-11 P.M. — 20/20

SATURDAY8 P.M. — Saturday Night Football
SUNDAY7-8 P.M. — America’s Funniest Home Videos (Tom Bergeron's last season
observing the nut kicks).8-9 P.M. — Once Upon a Time
9-10 P.M. — OIL--Don Johnson's back and ABC's got him in a soaper about a North
Dakota family finding oil in them thar Black Hills.
10-11 P.M. — OF KINGS AND PROPHETS--ABC jumps into the Bible with a loincloth
and sand soaper.

In the bullpen for mid-season are "The Family," a generic political soap with
Joan Allen, Zach Gilford, Andrew McCarthy and Allison Pill, Dan Savage's
one-camera sitcom "The Real O'Neals," about a Catholic family where the son has
a secret (and if you're familiar with Savage, you know what that secret is)
with Jay R. Ferguson, Martha Plimpton and Chicago actress Mary Hollis Imboden
(who played a newspaper reporter as a recurring character on "Boss"), the
reboot of John Hughes' "Uncle Buck" as an African-American (played by Mike
Epps) in a one-camera sitcom, and "Wicked City," an LA version of "True
Detective" with a new story every season (if they make it to a second
season)--the first season deals with an 80s case about sex, drugs and rock and
roll on the Sunset Strip, with Erika Christensen and Taissa Farmiga.
