I know it's been mentioned that NBC repeatedly puts their coverage of the
Triple Crown above the NHL (regularly shifting NHL playoff coverage to
NBCSN (nee Versus) to avoid runoff into the two-hour prerace show).
But buried in Richard Deitsch's media column today was this tidbit:

Game Two of the Stanley Cup Finals is on Saturday. But the a-team color guy
will not be working that game. Because he's going to be working The Belmont
Stakes.

I cannot make this up.

(Admittedly, Olczyk is well known as a handicapper, but really?)
