Dad and bro-1 are going to the primary MDs' (plural; it's a threesome; one of the two men pretty-much left dad to the one woman; the other man, I think, has some kind of sweetheart connexion to the nursing/rehab he was in) tomorrow (28) to straighten out a few things (peacefully, I'm hoping, but you never know with them)... meanwhile, the audiologist did her thang, and the instrument, as they now call those products, will be ready in about a fortnight... till then, more loudness in conversation.
