Although I occasionally LOL during other talk shows, Maher’s is only show I can consistently count on for LOL moments. His writers are as good as President Obama’s.
I’ve never found Stewart funny (too over-the-top for my taste), which is why I never watched his show and won’t be watching him on HBO. I did regularly see excerpts from The Daily Show in the “Play of the Day” clip reel that’s posted 5 days a week at Government Executive, so I am familiar with his work.
