The first San Diego Comic Con I attended included a Greatest American Hero panel with the whole cast, and they were talking then (back in 2008) about rebooting the series.
Of course, I was distracted at the time because Connie Sellecca (aka the skirt) still looked hot and Robert Culp was a great big ol' bag of cool.
