Chicago media blogger Robert Feder (whose blog is behind a Chicago
Tribune-run paywall) reports that Tribune Broadcasting's WGN is dropping
its C-Dub affiliation as of this September and that Fox-owned WPWR,
presently a MyTV affil, will pick it up. All indications are that
Chicago's Very Own will become once again a pure indie station and be
carrying as much live sports as they can or as Comcast SportsNet Chicago
will let them. It also seems to indicate that Weigel's pure indie WCIU
will pick up the MyTV affiliation and that the prime time hour of news
produced by ABC's WLS may be coming to an end on WCIU.

Meanwhile, here's a stupid comment from a man who claims to work for one of
The CW's owners:

James Stephens ยท Manager at Warner Brothers
The CW is the network for the illiterate and Trump voters. What garbage.

I didn't think Trump fans loved "Jane the Virgin."
