There's a long-standing theory when it comes to game shows that when you're resorting to celebrities playing the game in civilian* spots, you're in a world of hurt because viewers may say they want to watch celebrities, but you've eliminated the personal investment and risk that comes with regular contestants.
I absolutely believe a big-money TPIR would be a great summer fill in show. A gimmick game: not at all.
