Yes, but...

Dave brought as much of his stuff from NBC as he could, Evan as he was
re-making himself for 11:35 and CBS. I understand that Stephen was tired of
being limited to the cage of the Colbert character, but I think he could
still transcend it while using components of it selectively. And nothing
allows Stephen to come off as smart and interesting as when he is playing
against that character.

As I think about this, it seems clearer and clearer to me that there are
