Semi-related, every year about this time I download the new Le Tour De France app so I can live-stream the only sporting event I bother to care about. I noticed this week that the NBC 2015 Le Tour app has transformed into "NBC Sports Gold." This year, instead of spending $25 on a new app, I'll be spending $29.99 to be able to access the live stream on the Gold app. I assume this app will also come into play somehow during the Olympics in August.
