Part of what's changed is sports talk radio, dedicated sports cable
channels, and the internet. Plus gambling and fantasy football. Decades ago
we would turn on a Monday night game and know very little about the game or
teams unless it was a home team or one we were following. So the broadcast
team bringing us the game could make it entertaining and not tell us stuff
we already heard or knew. Now it's tough for a broadcast team to bring
something new to a game.

I think Michaels and Collinsworth are the best team working today. Not the
best all-time by far, but the best working today.
