One thing that was affected by the situation in Syria was Thursday’s originally scheduled episode of “Powerless,” which dealt with the main characters being stuck in the office due to a gas attack. I happened to pay particular attention to this because Thursday morning, the L.A. Times ran this evergreen-ish article about “Powerless” that described scenes from the gas-attack episode:
