Enberg did a professional job on "Perfect Match," but the show was a stinker that went through a lot of tweaks, which considering that this was during the days when syndicated shows were "bicycled" to stations out of production order could've meant for "Whas?" from viewers as rules and other elements disappeared and reappeared on their stations (if they were watching it at all). I'm guessing, for one thing, that the music package hadn't been completed by the first tape date, because outside of the closing theme with the vocals the music was from a studio organist, not exactly what a show that aspired to Chuck Barris-style hipness as in Playboy Philosophy hipness would want (the only Hammond organ on "The Dating Game" was the Jimmy McGriff record that would play while Jim Lange introduced the picker's selection for the date).
