I’m thinking more along the lines of the old “Evening At The Improv” shows
that A&E used to air. Most freshman comics don’t have 30 solid minutes for
a solo special. And people don’t discover new talent on the Tonight Show
anymore. A show like the ones done at the Improv would be great for online
media, with users’ love of short funny clips, and would introduce new
comics to the nation without making them eat bugs or blabber about their
youth in a “confessional” booth.
